The cure rate of dialysis in dogs

Haemodialysis is one of the renal replacement therapy modalities for patients with acute and chronic renal failure. It involves the exchange of blood with an electrolyte solution (dialysis solution) containing similar concentrations of body fluid in and out of the hollow fibres through diffusion, ultrafiltration, adsorption and convection to remove metabolic waste, maintain electrolyte and acid-base balance, remove excess water from the body and return the purified blood to the body. The whole process is called haemodialysis. There is no cure rate and the purpose of haemodialysis is to relieve the condition.
