Dogs with mites how to cure

First diagnose, what kind of mites your dog has, and the possible triggers and secondary sepsis. Treat secondary sepsis with appropriate systemic antibiotics for a long period of time (at least 3-4 weeks) and continue for at least another week after the clinical signs of sepsis have cleared. Usually effective are ivermectin, 0.2-0.6 mg/kg,PO, and doramectin, 0.2-0.6 mg/kg,SC, once weekly. Localised infections can also be cured by controlling the infection and topical shampoo treatment with a shampoo bath containing 1%-3% peroxybenzoyl every 3-7 days.
