Dogs are animals, as are humans, and the basic vital sign of an animal is its body temperature. So when the outside environment is cold, it is natural for the animal to feel cold. But because dogs are different from humans, some dogs have coats that resist the cold much better than humans. Sled dogs, in particular, have a double coat and are even more resistant to the cold, but just because they are resistant to the cold doesn’t mean that they are not afraid of it.
