What are the symptoms of canine distemper in dogs

When a dog has distemper, the body temperature will rise sharply, as high as 39.5 to 41°C for about 2-3 days and then subside, and in the middle of distemper, the temperature will rise a second time for an indeterminate period of time. Dogs with distemper will be in poor spirits and want to lie down. Appetite is low and a few dogs can eat a little if fed, but most dogs cannot eat food. In the early stages of distemper, dogs will have red conjunctiva, swollen eyelids, and watery discharge. In the middle stage, the eyes will secrete pus eye droppings and become more and more frequent. Dogs show signs of diarrhea, foul-smelling stools, sometimes mixed with blood and air bubbles.
