How often to groom a poodle

Poodles should preferably be brushed daily, or once in the morning and once in the evening if owners have the time, and not for too long each time, just keep it to 10 minutes or less. Because the Poodle’s coat is curly, it needs to be brushed at least once a week. This will promote the development of the dog’s hair follicles, as well as speed up blood circulation to the skin, increasing the number of hairs in each follicle and facilitating the emotional interaction between the owner and the dog. Poodle combing is best done with a row comb and a needle comb, which can be used to better disperse knotted hair, while the needle comb can be used for final hair tidying, especially for the dog’s facial hair. Poodle’s hair is curly, though short, but easily knotted, if not combed, then the knotted hair is difficult to blow dry when cleaning, the wet environment is easy to make bacteria breeding here, in serious cases may also induce eczema or skin disease, so the owner must pay attention to combing.
