Bathing your dog three or four days before delivery is not recommended. Because the resistance is weak during pregnancy, bathing at this time may cause the dog to catch a cold, or develop other problems. Secondly, if the dog is given a bath at this time, premature birth or accidental bruising may occur. It is therefore not recommended that owners bathe their dogs during pregnancy, nor should they deworm their dogs.
