The first two cases can be used to wipe the dog’s nose with clean gauze to allow the dog to breathe normally. When choked by amniotic fluid, the dog can be turned upside down and gently patted on the back to expel the amniotic fluid. Note that puppies have very fragile bones and should move gently.
