Symptoms of chronic cholecystitis in dogs are indigestion, pale faeces, fat in the faeces, lethargy, depression, loss or wasting of appetite, pain on palpation of the liver, thickening of the irregular wall of the gallbladder lining on ultrasound, diarrhoea, vomiting and jaundice. And biochemical tests can reveal abnormal bilirubin and glutathione transaminase indices.
