It is a familiar breed, but requires a little more patience and care from the owner. Dogs are spiritual and adult dogs become attached to their former owners and need to spend more time to be guided. Owners can keep food and water aside for the first few days, and feed canned food to please. Once this has improved, you can play with your dog at feeding time and interact with him more, being patient and gentle in your tone of voice to remove his wariness. Make sure to pet him more often to comfort him and play with him to increase affection. If he refuses to eat for more than three days, take him to the vet for an examination.
