This cat’s ancestors inhabited the Norwegian forests and is a breed of cat unique to Scandinavia. The Forest Cat is an independent, intelligent, alert, cautious, adventurous and active cat with a reputation as a capable hunter, capable of catching and climbing trees and rocks. It is not suitable for long-term indoor use, but is best kept in a home with a courtyard and a spacious environment.
