Akita Hachiko is the master dog in the movie “The Story of Faithful Hachiko” and is the most famous Akita dog. The Akita is the largest fox dog breed in Japan and is the national dog of Japan. This large fox dog is quite notable even in countries with a large number of fox breeds like Europe and the United States. In Japan, the Akita is a National Historic Dog and is the only large dog designated as a national natural monument in Japan, as it is known for its “faithful dog, Yakuza”. The dog is very brave, keen, loyal and intelligent.
