When we go to pick a dog, we often encounter sellers labeling their dogs with different levels, such as pet level, pedigree level and racing level, and the prices of these three levels are very different, but do you know what the difference is between them? Do you know how to identify? The following is to popularize the difference between these levels of dogs, I hope it will help you in choosing a dog. Dog level 1. pet level The so-called pet level means that the dog does not have a birth certificate and it is impossible to determine who its parents are. Even if one of its parents has a pedigree, it can only be counted as a pet level, because in the CKU registered birth certificate must have the proof of pedigree of both parents, only one side of the pedigree is unable to apply for a birth certificate, of course, there is no birth certificate, so it can only be counted as a pet level. Pedigree level Pedigree level means that the dog has a birth certificate registered in CKU, and has a pedigree certificate. If we say a baby dog has a pedigree, it is usually because its parents are registered with CKU and have a pedigree certificate. Of course, the certificate issued by NGKC also agrees to be credible. The pedigree certificate can be traced directly back three generations to the dog. If only one of the dog’s parents has a pedigree, it is called [single pedigree], and single pedigree is not necessarily recognized; of course, if both parents have a pedigree, the dog has [double pedigree], but note that double pedigree is not the same as racing. 3. Racing On the basis of double blood, if the dog meets the criteria for entry, it can be entered as a racing dog. However, if the dog does not meet the standard, it is only a dog with a double bloodline and cannot be considered in the class. Judgment Method A dog’s class can be judged in the following ways: 1. No pedigree parents/one parent with a pedigree? Identified as a pet class dog. 2. Both parents have pedigree? The next generation can register a birth certificate (birth paper) with CKU? Can you apply for a pedigree certificate at CKU only if you have a birth certificate? If the dog meets the competition standard, it will become a class dog / if it does not meet the competition standard, it can only be a pedigree dog. Price reference class price is generally higher: The idea of most pet lovers is to buy a pet and not need it to compete, so there is no need to buy a class dog. However, if you want to choose a racing dog, you should know that training a racing dog costs a lot of money, from the day the puppy is born to the various stages of growth, the puppy has to be evaluated, so as the offspring of a racing dog is more likely to become a racing dog, the price will of course be higher. Pedigree dogs also have certain differences: 1. They are of high quality, but their pedigree is confusing. Such dogs may have good results in competition, but because their pedigree is not stable, the quality of the puppies bred is also uneven. 2. A dog of average quality but with a clear pedigree, the quality of the puppies bred by such a dog is more average and stable. 3. High quality, clear pedigree, racing offspring, and high priced dogs are produced this way. Note that when selecting a dog, you should also pay attention to more observation to see if the dog has unhealthy genetics, whether the disqualification, whether it is inbred …… If you are not sure you can go to more kennels to investigate, compare the three to not lose out.
