Why do dogs get arthritis?

There are several possible causes of arthritis in dogs. Firstly, arthritis caused by bacterial infection; secondly, genetic factors, inbred dogs may have genetic disorders in their bones; thirdly, obesity factors, being overweight can increase the burden on the joints and thus cause arthritis; fourthly, excessive exercise causes severe wear and tear on the joints, thus leading to arthritis.
