Pet deworming medication needs to be fed reasonably according to the pet’s body weight. For example, internal deworming medication with Milbemycin as the main ingredient is recommended at 2mg/kg for cats and 0.5-1mg/kg for dogs, and should not be fed in excessive doses. Oral deworming medication can be mixed and fed in food such as grain and canned food, or broken up and fed with water. Deworming is very important for both puppies and adult dogs. Long-term failure to deworm will not only affect the dog’s physical development but also endanger the dog’s health, leading to vomiting, diarrhea, lethargy, and susceptibility to disease. The first deworming can be carried out when the dog is one month old, and then once a month thereafter, and once every six months as an adult.
