Dogs are a great friend to humans, they are loyal, brave and capable of taking on a role all on their own, making them invaluable helpers. The Guinness Book of Records immediately comes to mind when talking about the world’s largest dog, and it also contains the world’s tallest dog. His breed was the Great Dane, named Great George, and he stood up to two metres two tall and weighed 111 kilos. Great George lived to be eight years old and his owner was devastated when he died.
