Puppies can be weaned at around 6 weeks of age. It is recommended to start feeding him some complementary foods at around 3 weeks of age and at around 6 weeks of age, he can be completely weaned. Over time, the nutritional content of breast milk will not meet the puppy’s needs, so a complementary diet will be needed to add nutrition. A complementary diet can be some softened milk cake food or with some goat’s milk, or homemade chicken breasts without oil or salt, but small, frequent meals are needed.
