What’s the difference between a Shiba Inu and an Akita?

Compared to the Akita, the Shiba Inu is much smaller than the Akita and does not have as long a coat as the Akita. The Shiba Inu’s coat appears tighter to the touch, whereas the Akita’s coat is looser and softer, and the Akita’s mouth is not as pointed as the Shiba Inu’s. The Shiba Inu is not as obedient as the Akita, and the Shiba Inu is more mischievous than the Akita.
