Dogs that are new to the home and have not been vaccinated should be conditioned and observed for about 15 days, and then checked out at the hospital before being vaccinated. Pregnant dogs should not be vaccinated: the general vaccine instructions clearly state “not for pregnant dogs”. Dogs should be vaccinated on a continuous basis and at regular intervals.
