Cats generally live about 15 years, which is an average. Of course each case is analyzed on a case-by-case basis, and a cat’s lifespan is related to its diet, as well as genetics, physical diseases and other issues. If the cat is raised scientifically and does not suffer from accidental injuries, the life expectancy of the cat is still relatively long. There is also the fact that cats that have been de-sexed live longer than cats that have not been de-sexed, so many pet owners choose to de-sex their cats.
