Take the dog to the vet for delivery. If giving birth at home, owners should have clean towels, sterilised scissors, disposable gloves, disinfectant and other supplies ready for the dog to give birth on its own. Once the puppy is born, promptly dry the puppy, tie the umbilical cord and put it in the incubator. If you find that the mother is in labour or the puppy is abnormal, take it to the hospital promptly.
