What should I do if my kitten’s breathing sounds ragged like it’s not ventilating?

There are generally the following reasons for a kitten’s coarse, unventilated breathing. Firstly, it may be due to a cold that has caused a respiratory infection. Keep warm and seek medical attention if it does not improve or even becomes serious. Secondly, it may be caused by some infectious diseases. The owner should observe whether the kitten shows any abnormal symptoms such as watery eyes, runny nose, sneezing and coughing. If there are any abnormalities seek medical attention promptly.
