When arthritis occurs in cats, it can be painful and the affected limbs are sometimes afraid to hit the ground. Cats with arthritis can only be relieved by medication or surgery to alleviate the deterioration of arthritis in cats. It cannot be cured. Cats with arthritis generally require antibiotics and painkillers to control the pain and inflammation, followed by joint protection medication and reduced exercise. Severe cases may require intra-articular injections.
