There are many different types of oral dewormers for cats. The common ones are Bayer, Petanin, Hellebore, Ultra Trust and others. Topical deworming is generally available from Boraine, Big Pet, Avocet and others. These common dewormers can only get rid of threadworms, tapeworms, hookworms and heartworms in the body. However, for coccidia, trichomonas and toxoplasma, these need to be dewormed separately. If these specific parasites are not detected in the body you can use the normal deworming medication.
