The Samoyed is very intelligent and learns things quickly, but the degree varies greatly between individuals, so attention should be paid to treating different situations differently. It has a gentle temperament, is loyal to its owner and is adaptable. Alert, energetic, friendly to people, not timid and just not very aggressive.
