A Corgi tail break will leave two or three sections of the tail bone intact and is usually given at birth to reduce pain. When you break a Corgi’s tail, it is usually tied off with a rubber band and the tail will come off in about a week. After breaking his tail, Corgi will also have to have his tail disinfected daily to avoid inflammation.
