Symptoms of canine distemper virus

Infection by the canine distemper virus is mainly associated with high fever, a runny nose, pus eye droppings and even eye droppings that can muddy the eyes and lead to blindness, corneal damage, coughing and even pneumonia. In the later stages, the main symptoms are neurological, muscle twitching and so on. These are the more typical symptoms, some dogs may not be particularly symptomatic with one or two symptoms, others typically all symptoms can occur. Distemper is the number one infectious disease in dogs and is time consuming and costly to treat and may not heal, with a low cure rate, so the best way to prevent distemper is to get vaccinated.
