Cat flatulence is supposed to be a slot in the middle and then the cat is put in it and it looks like a flat. This has been confirmed to be false, the bed is sunken in. The angle of the photo is why it looks like the cat is flat, but in reality there is a groove in the middle of the bed that you lie on to prevent things from moving around.
