Bulldog

The Bulldog (English name: Bulldog) is a genus of dog in the family Canidae, a subspecies of domestic dog, native to England and originating in the 19th century, one of the most combative breeds of dog. It was a very common breed until 1835 when the teasing of bulls was banned in England. Since then, it has been selectively bred to become more refined in character. The French Bulldog, English Bulldog, Dutch Bulldog, American Bulldog and other types are available.
