Snowshoe cats, although not very common in life, can be imagined from their name, and are bound to have white paws, like snowdrops. The Snowshoe cat is a crossbreed, combining the characteristics of both the Siamese and American Shorthorn. Because they are a relatively rare young breed, they are also relatively expensive, with a purebred Snowshoe cat costing between 5,000 and 8,000.
