Small Dogs for Domestic Use

A small domestic dog should first of all be docile, lively and loyal, and a little better cared for. It is generally recommended that newcomers to the breed have a Teddy, Bichon Frise, Pug or Maltese. These breeds are stable, generally excitable, well-trained and do not shed very much, making them suitable for home ownership.
