Should male cats be de-sexed or not?

Male cats should be de-sexed if they do not wish to breed. This is because de-sexing male cats will reduce many diseases and behaviours, such as prostate disease, testicular disease, jumping behaviour, running away, etc. It will also reduce the heat troubles brought about by male cats in heat and also extend the life span of the cat.
