Poodle grooming

The basic grooming steps for the Poodle include: combing, shaving, washing and blowing. The dog’s hair should be combed: 1. Stand the dog on the table, then slowly brush the dog’s back from the centre of the back down towards the abdomen with a cleaning brush. 2. After brushing the back, comb the dog’s abdomen, the inside and outside of the front feet, then comb the head and finally the tail. 3. 4. The hair on all four feet of the Poodle should be trimmed to the root of the foot pads, then use your thumb and forefinger to separate the paws when shaving the soles of the feet to remove any stray hairs in the process. 5. -3cm.
