Dogs should not eat after caesarean section

The dog’s diet after a caesarean section is generally recommended to be normal as usual. However, as it is possible for dogs to develop low blood calcium after a caesarean section, resulting in low blood calcium convulsions, it is advisable to give your dog calcium supplements promptly after a caesarean section, for example, consider feeding nutritional creams and calcium tablets to supplement. It is also recommended to increase the dog’s nutrition to ensure adequate milk production.
