What is the behaviour of a dog licking a person’s face?

There are usually four reasons why dogs appear to lick people’s faces: one is to show affection and respect to people, two is to comfort people, three is asking for food, and four is that there is the smell of food left on people’s faces and the dog can get some meat by licking it.
