The Longhaired Dachshund has a fairly lively personality, cheerful, cautious and confident. Often behaving in a comical manner, it is a happy dog. Easy to train, loyal to its owner but wary of outsiders. Outdoors the Dachshund is brave, energetic and tireless, indoors he is loving and sensitive, quiet and friendly, playful and alert.
