The Lhasa Apso is a genus of dog in the family Canidae, native to the Tibetan plateau. They are tough, brave, barking, discerning and wary of strangers, good house sitters and are affectionate, intelligent and obedient to their owners. Because of their small size, Lhasa Apsos are suitable for home ownership and can make good companions.
