In the later stages of distemper, the dog’s temperature will continue to rise, he will have difficulty walking and will sleep for longer periods of time. They may also suffer from hunger strikes, facial discharge and even blindness. In addition, the dog will cough, have difficulty breathing, vomit and have diarrhoea, as well as convulsions, foaming and festering.
