Labrador, also known as Labrador Retriever, is a large breed of dog that is ideally suited to be chosen as a guide dog or underground police dog and search and rescue dogs and other working dogs that frequent public places. Loyal, atmospheric, honest, gentle, sunny, cheerful and lively, with a very high intelligence and also friendly towards people. The Labrador Retriever comes in four colours: black, yellow, chocolate and beige. The most common is black, with yellow. The Labrador is by far the most registered breed in the American Kennel Club and is particularly friendly with children and slightly clingy to its owners.
