Is there any harm in dogs walking upright?

Walking upright is very harmful. Sixty per cent of a dog’s body weight is on the front limbs and 40 per cent on the hind limbs, and if a dog stands up, the weight of the whole body is concentrated on the legs, shoulders and hips, and such a large amount of weight is too much for the dog’s fragile bones to bear. Walking upright many times can lead to wear and tear on your dog’s bones and can lead to paralysis in severe cases.
