What is the difference between Silver Fox and Pomeranian body type White Pomeranian is light weight, about 11.0-13.8 inches (28-35 cm) high at the shoulder and weighing about 6.6 pounds (3 kg) or less. Silver Foxes are about 9.84-15.75 inches (25-40 cm) tall at the shoulder and weigh 14.1-22.0 pounds (6.4-10 kg). The head of the Silver Fox has large black eyes, erect and triangular ears, and a small, round, black nose; the Pomeranian has two eyes and a nose in a square triangle, a round head, and a short, compact body. The coat of the Silver Fox is pure white, with a double coat and a rich tuft of hair around the neck and chest, which is particularly puffy. The White Pomeranian has a soft, dense undercoat and a coarse, hard coat. The tail root is positioned high and the long, densely trimmed hairy tail is curled on the back. The body of the Silver Fox is longer than the White Pomeranian, showing a stretched out body with a daisy-shaped tail that rises upward, but does not reach two-thirds of the way up the body from the tail. The white Boomer tail, on the other hand, is extremely distinctive, with the tail cocked up high, even to the back of the head.
