The Yorkshire is one of the better breeds to keep. The Yorkshire is small in size and has a high face value, so it is a good idea to take it out and be hit on by the opposite sex in no time. The Yorkshire is well behaved, loyal and protective, and is a good family dog as it does not eat too much and does not exercise too much. However, there are some minor drawbacks, such as barking, shedding and chewing on furniture if not accompanied by the owner.
