The Doberman Pinscher is a large guard dog that is powerful and dignified looking. With a fierce face they are friendly and loyal to their owners, but even with all these advantages, they are not recommended for domestic use. They are a safety hazard because they like to tear things up and have a natural hostility to strangers, and will jump on people. They are also very athletic and need a wide field to run and jump on.
