How to worm your dog

Nowadays there are probably two types of deworming, in vivo and in vitro. Generally speaking, dogs will have diarrhoea when they are about two or three months old, which is what we call turning over the intestines, in fact it is the roundworm, tapeworm and other parasites in the puppy’s stomach that have grown up, these parasites will cause the dog to keep on having diarrhoea, if they have not been treated for a long time, the dog will appear to be light in size, thin, and will also be irritable, and if the dog has a poor constitution, it will even If the dog is poorly, it may even develop other serious illnesses. This is why it is important to deworm your dog as a puppy, usually with a deworming vaccination. You can also take deworming tablets such as levamisole or prothiabendazole, generally one tablet for every five pounds of weight, once a day for three days. These two medications are more effective against roundworms, pinworms and hookworms. It is important to deworm your dog regularly, even as an adult, once every three months or so. In vitro deworming is usually done once a month depending on the reproductive cycle of the parasites. Spray dewormers, powder dewormers and drip dewormers are available. In vitro deworming is usually done by sprinkling or spraying the medication on the skin of the dog’s back.
