Dogs are very intelligent creatures and are able to understand people’s commands because of their good intelligence. However, there is still a bit of a gap in IQ between different breeds of dogs. Some of the smarter dogs are: Border Collie, Poodle, German Shepherd, Golden Retriever, Doberman Pinscher, Heeler Shepherd, Butterfly Dog, Labrador Retriever, etc.
