How to treat coccidiosis in cats

Cats with coccidial infection will show signs of diarrhoea and blood at the end of the faeces or in the stool, a microscopic examination is required to confirm the disease. The usual anthelmintic medication is sulphonamide, and Bayer’s Bacitracin. If the diarrhoea is severe, fluids or medication may be required.
