This cat breed exhibits shortened or slightly curved long bones, although its spine is end affected and is similar in shape and suppleness to that of other local cats. Although its limbs are short, they do not affect its running speed in any way. Therefore, the Mankikon cat is simply a different body shape to other cats and has no genetic defects.
