If your dog’s milk is lumpy, you can use a human breast pump to suck it out, or you can get another puppy to come over and help with the dog’s milk. You can also start by applying hot towels to the lumps and breasts for about 10-20 minutes a day, and massage the dog to make the lumps smaller. Give your dog an anti-inflammatory injection or anti-inflammatory medication to help the lumps go away; or help your dog squeeze out the excess milk. If you do not pay attention to the problem of lumps in your dog’s breasts, you may give your dog mastitis.
