Generally dogs start to enter the pace of old age when they are 6-7 years old or above. As they get older, they may need to pay more attention to their condition artificially, how they are considered old, how their coat has become dishevelled and lustreless, how their beard has gone grey, how they are not as active in movement as they are when they are younger, how their eyesight and hearing have declined, etc.
