If the tear stains are not caused by disease, add some salt to warm water and hold your dog’s head and neck with one hand while holding a damp towel in the other hand to gently rub the inner corners of the dog’s eyes and the deep recessed area of the nose. Try to be as quick as possible when scrubbing, as the dog may break away in the long run due to discomfort. It is best to treat the dog once a day, morning and evening.
