First of all, we know that the normal body temperature of a dog is between 38-39.2. If the body temperature is significantly higher than the normal body temperature of a dog and does not drop for a long time, it can be defined as a fever. We can take physical cooling methods at home by placing the dog in a cool environment, applying ice packs with cold towels or wiping the soles of its four feet and belly with an alcohol wipe. If physical cooling does not work, the dog will need to be taken to hospital for a laboratory test.
